Hi, I’m Josh Rickert! I am a full-stack web developer based in the San Francisco Bay Area who builds websites and web applications for startups, established businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations.

I prefer to work with modern JavaScript-based platforms such as Node.js and AngularJS, but I also have more than 10 years of experience building more traditional PHP/MySQL applications as well. For simpler projects I use WordPress.

I also provide audio and video services, with a special emphasis on audio recording and production. My background is in a variety of media, including web and interaction design, graphic design, audio production, video production, and photography. I graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 2013 with a B.A. in Media Arts and Technology.

When I’m not buried in my work, I’m an avid musician. I am the vocalist, guitarist, and saxophonist for Fertile Brainsoil.
