Volunteering For Oakland is a 501(c)3 non-profit community action group that fosters citizen involvement in Oakland, CA. Their goal is to encourage Oaklanders to get involved in meaningful projects.
I came on board to refresh the design of their website, optimize the site for mobile, and update the content hierarchy to suit their recently revised organizational mission. The new site is built on WordPress. I used the Divi theme by Elegant Themes to quickly produce a clean and professional-looking design that would also be easy for nontechnical users to update and maintain.
