The Projectron is an audiovisual experiment programed in Isadora. It samples a number of different sounds, musical and ambient, to become a rudimentary instrument itself. A minor scale is mapped to the horizontal axis, while several soundscapes are mapped to the vertical axis.
For this demonstration, its parameters are controlled by the X and Y coordinates of a computer mouse, but these parameters could also be mapped to a number of other dynamic properties and inputs, such as external audio levels or a midi controller. The visual elements are also rudimentary, but could easily be effects parameters mapped to preproduced or live video.
